Hey guys I’m Kathryn! I am a stay-at-home mom to three beautiful kids and a wife to my amazing husband. If any of you have kids you know how expensive they can be! One of our biggest expenses was on food. Feeding a family of five takes a lot of work and moola! About a year ago I decided to find ways to start saving money. We cut out cable, changed our phone plans and I started planning out meals and things I would need to get at the grocery store. Most of my inspiration came from the amazing Pinterest website! (If any of you have not been on Pinterest, get there STAT!) One major way I started saving on food bills was planning my meals for two weeks. When I go to the grocery store I only buy the things that are on my list. We probably spent close to $800 a month on groceries! Now we only spend around $200 twice a month (for a family of 5)! This blog was created to not only give you simple yet delicious recipes but also to help you cut costs on food. Most of my meals are simple and do not take a lot of time to prepare and cook.
